My suggestion is this Sandra, make your decision with the best interest of Jeebus in mind AND with a clear conscience. In doing so you will make the right decision, no matter how you choose to proceed. I understand how difficult a decision you have to make as I myself just had to make the same decision regarding one of my own fuzzies. I would like to offer you my encouragement and support in helping Jeebus in his time of need.

Hi--I need some guidance and support on making the awful decision to
say goodbye to one of my ferrets. This breaks my heart. How do I know if this is
the time to help him out by ending his suffering? Would it be selfish
to keep him at home, keep him comfortable, and wait for him to reach
his end on his own? Dying at home versus dying in the vet's office
seems more comfortable to me, but I know I'm scared to make this decision.
Any advice or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, Sandra
