Sandra here again.

First, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has replied to me both here,
and to my email address. Your messages have helped me a lot and given
me some better perspective. Your kindness and support is truly very
meaningful. My husband and I really appreciate it.

Second, I neglected to mention that Jeebus gets his 0.4 cc twice a
day, along with 0.1 cc of lasix twice a day, and a dose of an
antibiotic (whose name I forget at this time). Unfortunately, I don't
know off the top of my head the concentrations of the pred that Jeebus
is on. The vet did say that the 0.4 cc was a "pretty high" dose but I
don't know if it is possible to go higher. We are looking into the
possibility of increasing his lasix to help with the breathing.

At this point, short of a massive change in his behavior and symptoms,
we are looking at taking Jeebus to the vet tomorrow to say goodbye.

Again, all of your advice and feedback helps a lot and I am very
grateful for the quick and honest replies.
