Refreezable ice packs or water filled soda bottles frozen in a cooler to use as needed. Just wrap in a towel and put in the carrier. The soda bottles are nice that you always have extra water as they melt.

When I travel 3 hours/175 miles out of town to visit my mom, I always
take Delilah with me. What concerns me,in this hot Texas weather,is
what if my car broke down one blazingly hot August day? It takes AAA a
minimum of one hour to get to you,and if the car won't start,no
refrigerated air for baby. Surely some fellow ferret lover has a plan
in effect for lifes unexpected curve balls, such as this scenario.
gracias,in advance
