Subject: [ferrethealth] Cancer and Vitamin C in ferrets
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
Just wanted to hear any feedback on the benefits of Vitamin C and
cancer in ferrets...I know Vitamin C is used at times in treating
cancers in humans with some success, of course this is in a huge, huge
dose in humans but was just wondering if anyone knows how effective it
would be for use in ferrets with various cancers also? I know a very
healthy
immune system is really important in trying to fight off illnesses,
etc so would Vitamin C help them? I read on a website that you can
sprinkle a little on their food daily but want to run this by people
to make sure this will be helpful or not...and would this help a
ferret who already has cancer... Thanks for listening... just trying
to keep our ferrets around a lot longer...
