Per my (very ferret savvy) vet, I was instructed to mix up to equal
parts duck soup and pumpkin. She even said it was O.K. to let them lick
about 1/2 tsp. straight canned pumpkin if they would take it. Only one
liked it that way. P.S. - over the years, two of mine also had
insulinoma, and the vet said it was o.k. - and it was, because they
never had a problem. Be sure to use only the plain pumkin - not the
highly seasoned pumpkin pie filling ...
