Another couple of pluses to using Revolution are that :

it IS water proof after it has dried,

so if you walk your ferrets after a rian, or in sprinkled lawns or in
dewy grass, or let them go snorkeling they will still be protected from
parasites!

there is no odor at all after it has dried and even the odor when
applying it is not offensive.

You can see I am totally sold on this product and was guided into it's
use from other ferret yahoo groups from folks who've used it on their
ferrets for a long time.

One spotted on application and -no more worries! So worries about
overspray getting into her eyes or lungs ( or mine) no worries about her
rolling the spray off onto furniture or clothing, no staining of her
fur.

I'd be willing to bet that while the other mfr's of the topical products
claim their product doesn't get into the ferret's bloodstream - what
happens when the ferret grooms itself? I'd perfer to use a product
designed to be safe inside the bloodstream than one that denies it gets
there.

Josie is a small ferret so I am using the kitten size tube of Revolution
