Diabetes in ferrets is awfully rare and when it is seen, its often
after surgery for insulinoma. But urine drinking I have seen
frequently with adrenal disease. A blood glucose test will let you
know about the diabetes, but I would urge you to look into adrenal
tumors. Since its one of ferrets' favorite diseases and very common,
the archives have lots of good advice.
