I'm very sorry that your ferret is going through this. I just have to wonder if you were bleeding from your urethra how long would you wait to go to a doctor.

Yes your ferret is in great pain and yes if he doesn't get help soon, sadly he will probably die. This could be any number of things and they are all fatal if not attended to.

If you are unable to get vet care for him, please consider contacting a rescue immediately. It's already been at least 3 days, time is of the essence for him.

i have two ferrets, one is 3 (male) and one is 2 (female), i've had
the 3 year old for almost 4 months and the 2 year old about 2 months.
the three year old came from a home that didn't think they gave him
enough attention and the two year old came from the local humane
society. they get along and i've been falling for them harder and
harder, something i try to avoid because in my expierence i outlive
all my pets... now my 3 year old male is bleeding from his pee hole.
has been for 3 days as far as i know, maybe more. idon't think he's
eating much, and i know he's not pooping much and he makes weird
grunting noises when he tries to pee.

is my ferret going to die already? is there anything i can do? or
should i have him put down so he isn't in pain?
