I am not a vet but just a guess I wonder if he is adrenal and has an
enlarged prostate which has caused restriction on the urethra tube and
caused a bad infection. The minute you saw blood you should have taken him
immediately to the vet. With a bad infection like that there will be blood
and the issue of having trouble peeing. He needs to get help now, and may
need his bladder drained and needs antibiotics. If its something else its
still an ASAP issue. Please get him to the vet
