Subject: [ferrethealth] Helicobacter -- Contamination Time ???
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Long story short ... our shelter is having runny poop problems, and
shelter Mom is going to have surgery and be out of pocket for over 4
weeks.

Need to know if there is any documentation or thoughts on once 2 week
medication is started if the ferrets can infect other ferrets. Do
they need to be kept seperate until all medication is gone, and then
more time ???? Have several different thoughts regarding this from
vet in our area -- would like a more qualified/experienced ferret
vets/owners advise.

Would like an answer ASAP ... We have lots of concerned people
involved with helping during her time away, and many with older
ferrets.

Thanks,
Florence Love
