Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: treating flea bites

Neal, I've sometimes rescued ferrets that have an abysmal overload of
fleas. However,I have yet to see any bite marks on them. I would
suspect that your little guys are having an alergic reaction to the
fleas and this will go away without further treatment once the fleas
are remove (Revolution, Frontline or similar). Having to deal with the
treatment of adrenal disease, I don't think their little bodies need
any other medications right now.
