Natalie,
I think that the Innova Evo is a great food. Stores in my area don't
sell the ferret variety, but we feed the Cat and Kitten formula, which
is almost identical and it is wonderful. We solely feed our personal
ferrets Innova Evo and they are also supplemented with a partially raw
diet. Ferrets that first switch over to Innova do have slimy poop for
a while, but that usually clears up in a couple weeks. Since I
started feeding Innova my ferrets have been eating less, pooping less,
and they have beautiful coats. I think it is one of the best foods on
the market.
We also include this food in our shelter mix and most of the ferrets
love it. Some will pick all that out of the mix first to eat it.
Some ferrets however aren't a huge fan of the Innova at first, but
after a bit they really like it.
So I think its one of the better foods out there. After feeding it, I
wouldn't switch to anything else.
