I don't quite agree with you there.:-) Ferrets are enormously popular
in Australia and there are at least 2 ferret societies in each state
where ferrets are legal. (There is even a club in a state where
ferrets are ILlegal)

where the very best of ferret care is documented.

There is no reason at all to be feeding a processed food to your
ferrets. I believe that it's not the best for ferrets and, in a
country where the elements of a natural diet for a carnivore are
abundent and safe, I question the need to feed a processed diet at
all.

PS While ferrets may be popular in Australia, it is often difficult
to find a "ferret knowledgeable" vet. This is the reason that the
International Ferret Congress Australia is holding a symposium in
March 2008 in Melbourne. It is hoped that many vets and vet students
will attend and become more aware of ferrets and their unique care.
