Might I add that if the diagnosis is lymphoma, and you don't want to
try chemo (it can be tough on them), another treatment option is
prednisone and an herbal tonic called "Flor-Essence" (which is
similar to Essiac but contains no alcohol).
My ferret, Summer, has lymphoma and the vet said she had about 4
weeks to live, but now she's been on the pred/Flor-Essence for over
11 weeks and is still happy and enjoying life.
