Actually, almost no drugs expire when they say they
do. They US Military did a study and found that 90% of
drugs were effective far beyond their expiration
dates.

Personally, I will not use liquid antibiotics, or
compounded medicines (which usually don't have
preservatives) much beyond their expiration date.
Thinking about it, I think I've used almost everything
else after it expired (on me and my ferrets!).
Hey, I'm thrifty- what can I say? And every bottle of
medicine I get from my pharmacy says it expires one
year form when I get it...let's just say I'm skeptical
that all those different drugs all go ::poof:: one
year after I get them.
Ask your vet or pharmacist!
