Carnivore Care is awesome. :)
Bear is quickly putting on weight, after getting as low as 900 grams last week due to Lasix-induced anorexia (I'm guessing.) He's still not the piggy weasel he used to be, but he IS eating Carnivore Care off a plate. This is the first time he hasn't had to be syringe fed (or even closely supervised and encouraged) in weeks. We're giving him the Carnivore care at least 4 times a day, and he is happy to eat it. He doesn't seem to want whole chicken at ALL anymore, even though he was raised on it. (It's almost a shame, because we have an old-fashioned butcher nearby who will gladly grind up organic chicken for us.)

He's been completely off the Lasix for ... 4 days? ... and is fine (relatively speaking) in terms of his heart. I think Enalapril and Digoxin are clearly, for him, the big helpers with his heart. Lasix was dehydrating him too much and suppressing his appetite too much... bad news for at-risk kidneys. So, no more of that, I guess.

Carafate and Carnivore Care are marvelous inventions...
