Lupron in general is meant for either sub-q or IM. They do say that for ferrets it should be
given IM (back thigh is where I've seen it most often because ferrets can be kinda stringy).
But if others have had good results with sub-q, that would certainly be easier.

mixed up, it needs to either be flash frozen or used within maybe twenty minutes--half
hour tops. After that, it's already gone bad. I got that from a vet tech/shelter mom who's
worked with a couple of ferret vets, so it's probably true. It should say on the paperwork
that came with it.
