Subject: [ferrethealth] Mass on tail (don't think it's chordoma)
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

My 7-year-old, Maggie, has had a mass about halfway down her tail that
has been slowly increasing in size since the beginning of the year. It
is not a bulbous-looking portion of skin like the chordoma pictures
I've seen. It started out as an open sore (we though it was a bug
bite). It would scab over, then the scab would fall off and it would
become an open wound again. It's an oval-shpae about the size of a
dime (looks like a brain is the best way I can describe it). Will be
making an appointment with a vet next week, but would like to go in
with some knowledge. She is perfectly happy and healthy in every way
aside from this.

Any ideas?
