Amy, my first thought would be blockage or partial blockage. Has he got into anything that he shouldn't have or had any treats that he couldn't digest? ie - raw veggies or fruit? I'm not a vet or vet tech just a long time ferret owner and in one so young that would be my first worry. Your vet will probably do a barium xray to check that. Hope he's ok and it's nothing serious.
