Hi Sukie,
I just posted a photo of a dissected scat after Josie ate a mouse.
Its in Josie's album. The hair does NOT get digested, yet every piece
of skin does. The hair then gets wrapped, and rolled and twisted
around the other indigestible parts of the mouse ( like claws, teeth,
larger bone chunks) and then is passed smoothly out. SO all the tiny
pokey pieces are prevented fromharming the system by the natural hair
wrapping! ITs amazing!

The next time Josie eats a bunch of bugs, I'll do the same and report
my findings here.

Regards, Kim
