Subject: [ferrethealth] What are the best things I can be doing for IBD?

Particularly EE, wwhat are the best things I can be doing to help a
ferret with EE? The ferret is 5 y.o., on Pepcid AC and Carafate
regimen, eating mostly chicken/turkey baby food. He is offered Hills
ZD and Totally Ferret Active/Show ferrets also, but for the last month
has been gaining good weight on the baby food. The biggest problem is
the fatigue. We have tested him for insulinoma and no problems there.
Is there anything else that can mimic EE? Should I transition him to
eat something else? I have seen odd things on the board, like pumpkin
pie filler and such. I want to be giving him the best things. He
also lives with 5 other ferrets so they would also be transitioning to
the new foods.
