Robert, We haven't used the Lupron yet (still waiting for the vet to get some) but I recently had a ferret that lost alot of weight. Vet didn't know for sure what the prob was and put him on Metronidazole and Metoclopramide for a suspected ulcer. The meds stressed him out so badly that I felt forcing them would just make him worse so I discontinued them and started finger feeding him chicken baby food. He fought it by syringe but would lick a bit off my finger so I continued to finger feed whenever I could (even a tsp at a time) and after a week he has started to gain weight and is starting to play again. I guess what I am saying is that maybe finger feeding would help your little one eat. JMO Sometimes we just have to do whatever we can for these little ones.
