Robert, does your vet suspect a malignancy rather than benign
neoplasia in the adrenal? That could account both for the symptoms
and for the amounts and timing of the Lupron Depot injections
needed. (It is the DEPOT being used, right?) To me it sounds like
possible advancing lymphoma which has been in the adrenal but that is
only a guess.
I am so sorry to read that your little one is doing so badly.
Believe it or not, I first sent this to the old smartgroups addy.
Can people say, "exhaustion"?
At least that gives me time to say that I loved the finger feeding
post that arrived in the meantime (I think Lynn sent that.), and of
course, I hope there is not a malignancy.
Also, another cause of wasting which can be hard to spot is
cardiomyopathy, esp the hypertrophic form. I do suspect that the
wasting is related to the disease process itself, though.
