Subject: [ferrethealth] Lupron after surgery?

Hi everyone. After having noticeable adrenal symptoms, we put our
ferret on Lupron for almost a year. When he had to have surgery we
got our vet to go ahead and do the adrenal surgery too. She took out
his left adrenal gland, and since then (almost a month ago) he hasn't
been showing signs of adrenal disease. Now, we have two vets telling
us two different things. One says we need to keep him on Lupron no
matter what, and the other says he can stay off it until he starts
showing symptoms again. So what should we do?
