Hello, Debi

First of all, thanks for your reply. I got so many responses from people,
giving me advice and encouraging me to contact authorised people, that
I am not feeling alone in this matter anymore.
So the vet could have been right, that the kit indeed had a heart
malformation, but there was no sympthom at all: the ferret was playful,
fatty..just, perfect! No difficulty in breathing, nothing!
Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. It's important that I prevent this
from happening to the others as well (if there is anything that can be
done in this case).
I checked the pedigrees before even mating them: my female is taken from
Hungaria and the male was brought from Italy(that because they are so hard
to get in my country), so there is almost impossible that they are related somehow.

Any advice on a good diet for the operated kits?

thank you,

Roxana
