Hi Crystal,
The reason to use Lupron after surgery when you
remove just one gland is to prevent the other adrenal
gland from having the same problem. In your case they
removed the left, so you are now trying to prevent the right
adrenal gland from having the same problem. As you know
the right adrenal gland can be a lot harder to remove than the
left gland, so it is a good idea to use Lupron to try to prevent
the right gland from becoming a problem.
