Alright, Nelli. Now I understand. I guess there is a chance after all, even if they come from different countries.
I have no idea about this industry here. I bought the mother from another city, which is at the border of Hungaria:
they sent her to Bucharest through somebody who owned a car and came here with business. The transaction was
made by phone. The animal was not deparasitated or vaccinated..it just came like that from Hungary.
I have another friend who bought a ferret through another dealer. He related me how he brought the kits in a very
small cage, without food or water for 2 days. They were desperate and very agressive. My friend was impressed and even
asked that guy why he carried them like that. It's a case of mutilation, I would say. He just didnt care, it's a business
for him.
Ferrets here are very expenssive. Could go up to 300 euro/ferret (very expenssive for our budget, I mean...think that a minimum
salary in Romania is 90 euro) and they are so hard to find. You accept anything they give you so that you have it. At that time, I had
minimum experience with them, just what I read on the web. Nobody hear knows about them. If I go out to walk them in the parc,
people look at me as if I am an alien or something, they point fingers as me...etc. Quite embarassing...
Romania is undeveloped and people are full of prejudices regarding animals. There are no laws for animal protection (they are, but few and not applied by the authorities).
This is a different story and I think I am above the subject here anyway (I am not even sure I am allowed to debate this here)
thanks for your help, Nelli...

Roxana, not impossible unless you know the family up to grandparents or even more on both sides. One of my son's syblings were sold in Italy (coming from Hungary), most of them for breeding and I also know of other breeders who sold kits there. Hungary is a cheap place to introduce new bloodlines from compared to the prices in Italy.
