When I had the first surgery made to fix Yoko's thighbone, the vet prescribed Petphos (I don;t know
if you heard of this brand). It's a general supplement, including different vitamins.
Two weeks after the surgery, the cane became unstable so the vet had to perform surgery again
on poor Yoko, to fix it back again. Then, he noticed some suspect deposits of Calcium at the extremity of the bone (not on the fracture line, as it would have been normal), so he told me to stop giving them Petphos.
It is weird. They are rachitic, but ...I really don't know what to say.
Maybe you can help me with this.

You did give us any info as to what you are feeding these kits,
but by the description you are having metabolic bone disease
from a diet that is too low in calcium and too high in phosphorous.
Thus a calcium and vitamin D supplement is needed asap!
