Ok, Sukie. I will try to do that after they recover a little bit after the surgery. I will also
try to support them with a towel under their belly and therapy in warm water.
One of these, systematically done, should help the kits :)

It just hit me that walking with a sling which provided some support
might help these kits.

One trick that is used for some sick ones is to use pantyhose to make
a sling. There are several ways to do this. The one we have used
here is to sew the feet together into a hammock for the belly and
roll the body portion into a handle then sew closed.

Of course, ask the vets first.

The animal PT text arrived and it does not have any sections on
malformations of young, so no rickets info. As time allows I will
see if I can find relevant email addresses, and get a reply from any
of the authors and ask what they recommend in terms of specific
approaches.
