Hi Sheryl,
As Patti pointed out-No the sample size would
not effect the results (ie hormone levels) on the Tenn
Panel. Her other suggestion of having your vet call
Dr Oliver at the U of Tenn is also a great idea.
Prostate problems (ie difficulty urinating) are common
with adrenal gland disease in male ferrets.
The sooner treatment is started the better for your ferret.
Lupron and melatonin would be a good start!
If there is bacteria in the urine then adding an antibiotic
is also needed (ie Zeniquin, Baytril,or trimethoprim/sulfa).
