Subject: [ferrethealth] Ferret isn't eating or playing. Just wants to sleep.

Our ferret isn't eating today. He is having trouble climbing back up
from the bottom of his cage. He has some diarhea. He has also lost
some hair on his tail and a little bit along his back.
He was found running loose in January. Nobody claimed him, so we kept
him. We have no background information on him. He had fleas when he
was found, but after daily plucking and treatment with kitten flea
control, we don't see anymore on him. Could the flea treatment have
caused his hair loss? Also, any ideas on what to do about that or his
other symptoms? Also, is there anything specific I should look for in
a vet to treat ferrets?
