Regina,
When I've had problems switching rescues to Innova or
other kibbles the problems have occured immediately,
not after 8 months. It is also when switching from
often bad quality cat food up to any kind of good
ferret food. Given that your ferret was already on
good food, and the problem took so long to occur, I
think you are dealing with something beyond food, like
IBD. I would get him into a vet ASAP.
