Oh, 5th point learned and very important:
replace electrolytes
Pedialyte and Kayolyte are among good sources.
I like the powdered version because the solution
has to be thrown after two days. An old trick
people used was to freeze it but I don't know if
that really works. We have even used Gatorade
in a pinch with a sick ferret.
