Kitten size dose of Revolution is too light a dose to prevent heartworms... you need to use the large cat (5-15lbs) size to prevent help prevent HWs in ferrets. You can use liquid Ivermectin in a propylene glycol solution.. guess you could use water also.. don't know the ratios of proper dose.. maybe a list vet can enlighten..

I also have heard of Kitten size Heartguard being used w/ferrets w/out a problem.
