Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Mike Janke has passed away
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I feel so saddened for so many. I never met him but his
contributions have been tremendous. I use his site often as a vet to
give information for clients and update them on so much. His love
for the little creatures showed in everything he did. It is so sad
when someone so good gets stuck with such bad disease. I also know
that we are here for a purpose and once we fulfil it it is our time
and maybe the great man up there felt that he accomplished his
mission to educate and save many. I believe he will still be with us
and nudging us with new information from a greater place. He really
hasn't gone anywhere. He will be fighting even harder in his new
place and helping all the little ferrets when it is their time to
cross over. Ironically a friend of mine, her ferret died last night
too and she said to me at least her little ferret was in good
company. I know these letters aren't normal for this list but in
this case is I think there is good cause. Mike we will miss your
insightfulness and dedication. Until we meet again.
