I am forever grateful that I had the opportunity to honor him in my story published in Ferrets magazine.
My burned image of him is from a symposium of the past. He had this mischivious smile, warm air to him, and quiet manner. And all around him were people who were so charmed by him. He had this way of putting you at ease. But that smile of his ... :) It was just so impish. I loved it.
You know, he'll never ever reaaaaaaaaaally understand what he contributed to all of us and our little ferrets with the website. Ever. Countless, countless lives saved, and owners hearts mended.
