Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Ivermectin reactions?

Thought I should be a little more clear on why the injection was
given. Fizzle and Koda both have symptoms of IBD. We tried Imuron,
but it wasn't working, so the vet thought maybe it could be
parasites. She had the same thing happen to a family that had 2
ferrets in the same family that were thought to have IBD, and it was
just parasites. Unfortunetly, it wasn't parasites and unfortunetly
Koda had a toxic reaction to the injection. Fizzle is fine, no
reaction.
