Subject: [ferrethealth] Blocked scent gland??

When a scent gland is blocked, can it be felt as a small lump around the
anus? One of our little girls hasn't been a "poofy" as usual and I found
a small lump at her anus tonight. I also noticed there was evidence of
blood around her anus. I will get her to the vet first thing Monday but
just was just out possibilities without jumping to the obvious worst
conclusion.
