My ferret Franklin had the same thing about 2 years ago. It was a
round thing the size of a pea between his shoulder blades. my vet
removed it and sent it for testing and it came back as a highly
malignant Round (red) cell tumor, which my vet said was very rare in
ferrets. We think we got it all as he is still around today.
This might not be the case for you as my vet said a round/red cell
tumor is very rare but I would check it out at the vets ASAP.
