The dosage of Flor-Essence for a ferret is recommended to be between
2.5 and 3.5 mLs, diluted with an equal amount of purified drinking
water. I have never found an official documentation of Essiac/Flor-
Essence dosages according to weight in ferrets or (even cats) but
anyone I've spoken to on the subject has given the aforementioned
dosage, and our vet agreed. That's the way it is with a lot of
herbal products, I guess, instructions frequently come by word of
mouth.
I'm not sure if there's a different dosage for lymphoma vs. adrenal
disease. I'm not familiar with Flor-Essence as a treatment for
adrenal problems but I'm sure it has been used before.
Our protocol is not, for the most part, being supervised by a vet,
with the exception of Summer's diagnosis and prescription of
Prednisone.
I apologize for not being very helpful in answering your questions,
we're sort of new to the whole herbal medicine scene. :)
