Subject: [ferrethealth] ferret had kidney tied off during neuter

last week my 10 month old ferret was very lethargic and had hindleg
weekness brought her to the vet blood panel ultrasound done, leading
to immediate surgery to remove her kidney. marshall ferret's tied off
her kidney during her neuter.
has anyone been through a similar situation?
and what is the outcome of kidney removal at such a young age, shes
starting to perk up, but shes still sleeping all the time and shes
very wobbly when she walks.
