Mojave is STILL having the same problems urinating!!
The ferret experienced vet and the exotic specialist told me to take
him off of it because it is obviously not working. He was on 1 mg
for ~ 6 weeks and there was absolutely no improvement. None
whatsoever.
He was also on Flutamide which made him very listless and did not
improve his urinary symptoms at all and so it was decided that he
shouldn't be on that either.
Again, his prostate looks perfect! It is not enlarged, there is no
fluid build up, and the walls are as thin as they should be. This
was a very very sensitive ultrasound that was done. It measured his
adrenal glands down to 1/10 of a mm!
Plus, it has been surmised by the vet who did it, that the blood may
have been from him trying to catheterize him. Mojave's primary vet
agrees.
I was really wondering if there are any other benefits to giving any
ferret propecia.
