to immediate surgery to remove her kidney. marshall ferret's tied off
her kidney during her neuter.


**I'm sorry your ferret had trouble with her kidney, but I find the idea that
the damage was from her spay at four or five weeks at Marshall's and only
showed up at this late date to be almost impossible to believe. When damage is
done to a kidney during a surgery, clinical signs show up within a few days,
not ten months later. In fact, I'm currently treating a dog who was spayed at
another facility last week who had her kidney damaged - clinical signs of
illness occurred within two days of her spay.

You need to look for another reason for the kidney problem, I'm afraid.

The good news is that as long as her remaining kidney is functioning
normally, she should have a normal life ahead of her now.**
