Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Feeding baby ferret via a tube......would this work?
They actually make neonate feeding tube sets. I am sure they are expensive
but that would be the ideal. Also most vets carry small feeding tube sets to
feel small pups and kittens.
Feeding tubes have the lumen on the side and the end of the tube is rounded
to reduce trauma to the mucosa going down. I would think anything to cut
something you will have rough or sharp edges that could cause problems.
