I am sorry your poor baby is going through this. I have heard that "slippery elm" can help
sooth the digestive system, however, I do not know where to get it or what the recommended
dosage is (someone on the FHL with mor experience please advise) I am suggesting this
ONLY to help relieve suffering temporarily until the ferret can be properly diagnosed, whic
may only be accomplished by exploratory. While he was in the hospital 7 days, can you say
what tests were performed and what outcomes?
Do you have another ferret vet nearby for a second opinion?
