I've "discovered" a new cat/kitten food by Wellness Foods
called "Core". It contains no grain products (which ferrets cannot
digest due to not having a cecum)and has a very high amount of
protein.... sorry, I can't find my link right now but since adding this
food to my base food, "Chicken Soup for the Kitten Lover's Soul" my
ferrets are thriving. The first thing I noticed was their nails grows
so fast...... caused by loads of protein.
Some cat/kitten foods are actually better than ferret foods since there
seems to be more research going into cat foods than ferret foods.
I'd rather pay more for really good foods now than pay more for vet
bills in the future!
