Subject: [ferrethealth] the vomeronasal research getting such wide press today does not seem to apply to ferrets

I guess there will probably be some folks who wonder if the new
gender behaviors work on mice could also apply to ferrets. When I
got some time tonight I looked into it a bit because I was very
curious. By all appearances it does not apply to ferrets, and may
not widely apply to a number of mammals.
Oh, well, like many others I got excited by it prematurely...
