Well, I have continued searching and can not find any
articles showing this parasite in ferrets. There is one
mentioning otters but I did now look closely to see if
it really was found or not. Otherwise, I didn't find
mustelids with this parasite, with one exception that
got my attention:

What I DID FIND was that instead of

ferret (comma) badger

the parasite was found in ferret badgers in 2 refs. TOTALLY
DIFFERENT! Now, I have to wonder if there are refs I missed
or if the dictionary, or its transcription accidently inserted a
comma where none belonged.

Did you find any papers?
