Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Adrenal, prostate, urinating trouble, lupron, antibiotics, not surgery candi
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Thanks, Sukie. I think I had found most of those. I had asked this vet
about melatonin from the very beginning and she said from what she had
read that it had more bad side effects than was beneficial? Basically
she wasn't interested in providing it.

Bear only received three days of steroid injections. Should I ask her
about trying something daily? I am wanting to remember that he seemed
to be urinating greater amounts closer towards when he received those
steroid shots.

This vet is an exotic specialist and has been consulting with a
colleague on this case, but neither of them are interested in
melatonin and neither have mentioned daily steroids. This is not my
regular vet. Any suggestions on getting them to try anything different?

Thank you,
Maureen
