Subject: [ferrethealth] Colloidal Silver nose drops
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I've read that a few people are battling nasal bacterias in their
ferrets so maybe this might be helpful in their cases too.

We've been battling pasturella and step for over a year. A couple
months ago I was in People's Grocery looking for something natural to
help with the stuffy/sneezing noses and found a human nose drops cold
product containing colloidal silver. I've used colloidal silver on
other things and it has worked well for us. I called our vet and read
the ingredients off to him to see if there was anything harmful, there
wasn't, and he said to give it a try.

I'm happy to say that the nose drops are working. I've used them on two
ferrets that may be our carriers and on anyone that shows symptoms and
they have all responded very well. The sneezing and snorting is almost
non-existent in our home now. Leo was one of the worst and for months
he couldn't get any relief no matter what antibiotic or nebulizing
treatments I did. Leo hasn't had antibitiocs since we started the nose
drops and he is breathing much easier.
